ADRA Thailand is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Community Field Officer based in Mae Lao District, Chiang Rai, Thailand

Job overview: Responsible for specific tasks related to schools, communities and networks including churches, GOs and NGOs. Ensure all information of communities, churches and schools are collected and well managed. The Community Field Officer is responsible for providing financial support to low-income families.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Project Manager to identify project beneficiaries in line with programme documents
Along with the shelter coordinator, undertake assessments in the community identifying those in need of support in line with the project focus
Coordinates with statekholders at community level to plan and organize for activities such as meetings, workshops and etc.
Follow up with each beneficiary who receives support (students and families)
Ensure financial support is disbursed in a timely manner and for the intended purpose.
Represent ADRA in networking and stakeholder meeting as assigned by supervisor
Provide monthly report, activities report, meetings/trip report and workshop report on community and schools activities
Provide quarterly human interest stories
Develop contracts and forms for community activities
Design activities and presented work plan to Project Manager before executing.
Lead in planning, implementing and monitoring of the project activities at the community level as per program design
Visit target communities on regular basis to get their perceptions and experience so as to assist in planning and development relevant community-oriented and sustainable programs
Conduct life skills training and events for communities and schools
Update project activities on social medial (Facebook and Instagram) regularly
Develop presentation, update information on current situation of human trafficking, child rights and relevant issues.
Perform other tasks as required by the Project Manager
Preferred candidates are expected to meet the following:
Minimum Skills & Education Required:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in community development or related field
Experience:
2 – 3 year experience work in related field
Language Skills:
Fluent in spoken and written Thai
Proficiency in English is an advantage
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work in a Christian context
Have strong operational management skill
Understanding of diversity in working environment
Ability to handle work efficiently and accurately under time constraints
Strong computer skills (Including Microsoft Office proficiency)
Excellent public relation and communication skills
Hands on and able to perform work independently
Experience working with school teachers, children and communities
Valid driver’s license for a car a must
