The Environment and Climate Change (ECC) Program Manager for FHI 360’s Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO), reporting to the Regional Director, is responsible for executing and ensuring the quality of programmatic and operations management support to the ECC team. This entails coordinating the ECC work plan and budget, following up and ensuring tasks are completed on time and on budget, developing and implementing process improvement mechanisms, ensuring compliance with FHI 360 policies and procedures and coordinating internal communications and external facing meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, manage and coordinate implementation of the ECC team’s work plan and budget
Develop and roll out program management tools
Provide monthly performance analysis
Provide performance information for quarterly portfolio reviews
Support proposal development, particularly as technical budget lead
Develop and process, as needed, Sub agreements/Subcontracts; Amendments; Consultancies; Charge code Requests; Master Service Agreements (MSA); etc
Coordinate closely with APRO technical, enterprise, Human Resources, business development, compliance and contracts and grants staff
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements
Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Environment, Climate Change or a related field.
Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in project management.
Comprehensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures with project management, process development and execution.
Strong knowledge of project management software and other technologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated project and personnel management skills.
Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
Experience in multi-sector management and implementation.
Experience in monitoring and evaluation as well as strategic planning, capacity building and team management.
Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English; fluent in Thai.
