The Borderland Health Foundation (BHF) is a non-for-profit, non-religious and non-political organization, registered in Thailand. BHF links to field stations of the Mahidol-Oxford University Research Unit (SMRU Clinics) which are located in Mae Sot, Mae Ramat, Phro Phra, Tha Song Yang and Umphang districts in Tak province, Thailand. BHF works with marginalized populations along Thailand-Myanmar border by focusing on health care services and public health issues with its focus on malaria, tuberculosis, and maternal and child health.

BHF is currently looking for the IT Helpdesk have to ensure the operations of efficient and effective in Software, Hardware and services for the SMRU IT system. Maintenance and monitoring of all computers and IT equipment.

Starting date:  As soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• Manage hardware & software maintenance of IT equipment including network infrastructure in SMRU & BHF Maesot office.
• Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs.
• Maintain inventory of SMRU & BHF IT fixed assets, equipment and software, identify and report obsolete equipment.
• Maintain internet connectivity and computer hardware to be compliant with SMRU & BHF minimum standards in a timely manner.
• Maintain and monitoring the SMRU and BHF office, about computer system, resolving computer problems.
• Assist with the upgrading and/or replacing computerized parts to maximize efficiency of office.
• Other duties delegation by supervisor.

Position requirements

• Education:
  • • B.A in IT or equivalent technical college diploma
• Experience:
• 2-3 years in IT industry experience in Helpdesk or desktop support.
• Fluent in Thai, Karen or Burmese and basic English
• Good communication skills
• Motivated and able to work under pressure
• Ready to any assignment required by the foundation
