Coordinator for international victims position  

Objective of the position: To coordinate and support the Protection Team of AAT in order to protect Thai victims of sexual exploitation trafficked outside Thailand.
 

Job description details:
The coordinator will mainly have to:

1. Find new organizations in targeted countries (such as South Korea, Bahrain, Dubai, Oman, Japan, Malaysia… ) and develop collaboration with them to detect and protect Thai victims.
2. Maintain good collaboration with the existing network AAT has already developed in those countries and develop a working system with them.
3. Find Thai women who migrated abroad (and are either back to Thailand or are still abroad)
4. Develop good relations with those Thai women
5. Support the Protection Team to find and protect victims by coordinating with the created network

The coordinator will also have to:

1. Assist the director in writing activity reports to funding agencies
2. Assist the director in maintaining good relationship with current funding agencies (sharing cases stories, reports, news…)
3. Assist the director in contacting new funding agencies
4. Assist the director in writing project proposals to current and new funding agencies

Profile:

1. Be from Thai origin
2. Having similar experience working with NGOs (at least 5 years) on women or children issues at management level and / or having experience living / working in a foreign country if possible among the targeted ones
3. Having a strong motivation in women and children rights / justice
4. Having good communication skills and enjoying developing new contacts
5. Having high coordination skills and be proactive
6. Having high concentration and enjoying writing reports
7. Be friendly and patient
8. Be flexible and able to work overtimes

Skills needed:

1. Excellent Thai speaking and writing
2. Fair English speaking and writing
3. Good knowledge in using social media
4. Knowledge in travelling overseas
5. Capacity to conduct a study
6. Capacity on managing projects
7. Capacity in writing reports and proposals
8. Knowledge in computer programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Email)
9. Be able to tape in both Thai and English language
10. Knowledge in human rights issues will be a plus
11. Knowledge in Thai and International legislations will be a plus
12. Other language speaking will be a plus (French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Malayu, Arabic…)

Working conditions:

1. Full time
2. Salary depending of the experience and knowledge
3. Starting date 1st of May 2022.  
4. 3 months probation period with a possible contract until the end of 2022.
5. Most of the working time will be at the office (in Bangkok) with working from home possibilities and possible (but limited) field visits in provinces in Thailand.
6. Possible work during evening and weekends in case of emergency (but should be rare).
