Background of the project |
Doctors Without Borders Thailand (DWBT) is a medical organisation working in Thailand since 2017 and currently operates a project in the Deep South of Thailand supporting mental health activities for the population there and a project in the North supporting the emergency responses along the Thai-Myanmar border.
Since April 2021, the North project started as an exploratory mission in Mae Hong Son province. And in August 2021, the project started to implement emergency response activities along the Thai-Myanmar border supporting the access to health care for vulnerable populations.

Main Purpose |
Execute administrative tasks and do follow-up of project accountancy and human rerources, according to administration manager’s indications and DWBT procedures, in order to ensure legal compliance and keep strict control over monetary resources.

MSF or DWBT - Doctors Without Borders (Thailand) Co. Ltd. as registered in Thailand since 2017, is operated under the Asia Unit, Operational Centre Barcelona (OCBA). The North Thailand Project “Access to primary health care for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and Victims of Violence along the Thai-Myanmar Border” has been started since April 2021, with project bases in Mae Hong Son and Mae Sariang.
The Finance HR Assistant will be supervised by the Finance HR Manager and based in Mae Hong Son with field visits to Mae Sariang and other locations based on the project needs.

Requirements |
Education: Desirable finance, business or administration related diploma.
Experience: Essential previous working experience of at least two years in relevant jobs.
Desirable experience in DWBT or other NGOs in developing countries.
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet)
Languages: Mission language (English) and local language (Thai) essential
ethnic language (Karenni, Shan, or Karen) desirable

HR & Benefits:
Salary: 31,838 Baht gross per month and 13th Month Salary
Housing allowance (for candidate recruited outside Mae Hong Son district)
6 months fixed term contract renewable
Health benefit package
