Finance & Admin Assistant – Chiang Mai
(12 months, with possibility of extension)

DCA Foundation in Thailand is seeking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to fill the position of Finance & Admin Assistant. This person will be a member of the DCAFT team based in Chiang Mai. The Finance & Admin Assistant will support the Finance Coordinator and Programme staff to maintain a full overview of the Foundations finances, provide financial monitoring and support to DCAFTH Programme staff and partner organizations, and provide administrative support to the running of the Foundation.
The Finance & Admin Assistant will report to the DCA regional Head of Finance and will have functional links to the other Finance and Programme Coordinators working in Thailand and the region.
Specific responsibilities
Support DCA Thai Foundation FC as necessary on all programme and partner finance issues.
Support FC and PCs in arranging DCA TH Foundation and partner audits.
Manage and complete office administrative tasks, including rent, utilities, managing cleaning staff, arrange all cash bookings related to office costs, etc.
Manage salary process for DCA TH staff, including social security and taxation issues, coordination with bank, etc.
Support FC and PCs in all administrative arrangements related to the DCA Thailand Foundation, including preparing and submitting documentation & reports, arranging board meetings, etc.
Support PCs and FCs to prepare and manage Regional Office budget; support FC to provide monthly control of running costs.
Manage DCA TH Foundation office procurement and logistics requirement with support from DCA-MM Prolog coordinator.
Support Country Director, PCs and other staff on all admin related to workshops, staff travel & accommodation, etc.
Support FC and PCs in working with partners on procurement and logistics issues.
Provide any additional finance, admin and HR support to the FC, Head of Finance as necessary. Provide any additional finance, admin and HR support to the HoF as necessary.
Qualifications
At least two years of experience in financial & administration work in the development or humanitarian sectors desired.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel desired; additional experience with financial management software a bonus.
Clear track record of providing strong administrative support in a professional role.
Fluency in spoken & written Thai is a requirement for this role; good command of written and spoken English a bonus.
Willingness to travel throughout Northern Thailand when required.
The benefit package for the position includes a competitive remuneration with base salary depending on qualifications and experience. Other benefits include annual bonus, pension scheme and medical insurance.
The contract is initially for 12 months and is subject to funding availability.
Starting date: ASAP
Weekly working hours: 40 hours per week.
