Thailand Experiences Vision

Thailand Experiences (TE) is an international education experience provider based in Bangkok, with 10 years experience facilitating international exchange programs across South East Asia.

TE supports life-changing higher educational experiences for our participants and partners, through quality cross-cultural education programs. We support, encourage and guide participants to explore cultural and educational exchange in a way that promotes personal growth.

TE partners with schools, universities, NGOs, communities and other organizations in South East Asia to provide sustainable cross cultural exchange.

TE staff and partners believe deeply in the mission of creating and supporting participants' life changing experiences.

TE provides a rewarding work culture that allows self expression and personal growth.

 

Role

Develop and grow the Thailand Experiences Bangkok internships program.

Lead the delivery of the semester study program, including orientation, health and safety information and cultural advice.

Lead all semester program trips and excursions. Must be able to work with community members and students to provide a safe and fun environment

Provide advice and support to semester students throughout the term. This may include support in emergencies, cultural advice or other information regarding Thailand and Bangkok

To grow our program sales by 20% through improved communication, new opportunities and partnerships and increased student satisfaction onsite.

To source and develop new strategic partnerships for TE

Increase excitement and value on current participant programs, with workshops, networking opportunities and training.

To manage external and internal communications with local and international partners.

 

Metrics of success

Attain high student NPS scores for all TE programs in Thailand, through exciting, immersive and challenging program options.

Identify and implement new internship locations in Bangkok.

Increased participant immersion and satisfaction, through the development of the participant experience, by initiatives such as a cultural curriculum, trainings, workshops and other professional and personal development opportunities for participants on TE programs.

Develop and implement effective TE marketing strategy, including social media, instagram and other locations.

Create positive company culture, through company celebrations, activities, annual training/workshops and more.

Working Hours: Part time, 20 hours a week, flexible schedule and location. However work with students and groups will require work on the weekends and evenings in various locations.

Location:TE office is located in Chamchuri Square, but most work can be completed remotely, however staff may need to meet at the office on occasion. Work with students will require travel to various locations.

Salary: 25,000 Baht per month depending on experience, plus travel costs and other work-related expenses.

 

Specific Duties:

 

Student Relations

Work directly with students to ensure program goals are met

Improve the student experience and quality of programs, this includes communication, generating excitement, cultural exposure and enriching learning for students in the country.

Manage internship placements, directly working with students and partner companies.

Lead student groups on program trips, site visits and other programs.

Manage other staff to ensure program checklists are met.

 

Marketing

Generate and share consistent amazing marketing content from student activities and promoting Thai programs.

 

Partner Relations

Identify and connect with new partner universities, local partners including businesses, NGOs, government offices.

Nurture current partner organizations, companies and universities.

Meet and present to current and new partners to promote current programs and strategies.

Develop and implement new programs that fit the Thailand Experiences mission.

Attend and present at regional conferences, networking events.

Create and implement programs and plans to drive overall company growth, based on customer and market needs.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Excellent and persuasive English and Thai written communication

International study, intern, and/or volunteer experience.

Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to work independently.

Ability and desire to travel.

Self-starter and ability to thrive without a daily routine or supervision.

Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and facility in connecting with a variety of clients (students, staff, faculty, upper administration).

Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to strategize, anticipate, and take initiative.

Functional knowledge of Google platforms, MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel.
