The ICRC Regional Delegation in Bangkok seeks to fill the following position:
Digital Learning Officer, based in Bangkok
We are looking for a spirited team player with a can-do attitude to join our dynamic team.
Digital Learning Officer oversees the integration, translation and maintenance of digital learning content hosted on Learning Content Management Systems (LCMSs) and provides support when needed. S/he supports the upskilling and empowerment of the learning practitioner’s community through various activities (documentation, training, facilitation, etc.) and controls the quality of the digital learning content developed by learning practitioners and/or external providers, as well as the LCMSs data quality.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process or supervise the integration of digital learning content
- Process and/or coordinate the translation/localization of digital learning content
- Manage maintenance requests in collaboration with other Digital Learning Officers
- Develop and maintain the documentation on LCMSs processes & tools
- Develop and maintain digital learning solutions to facilitate the adoption of LCMSs processes & tools
- Facilitate the LCMSs community of practice
- Control the quality of the digital learning content developed by learning practitioners and/or external providers
- Ensure the LCMSs data quality
- Contribute to the on-going monitoring, evaluation, and enhancement of the Learning Solutions Unit response system
- Contribute to potential feasibility studies
- Support potential digital learning infrastructure projects
YOUR PROFILE:
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Excellent level of Microsoft Office literacy, especially in Excel, to manage large data-tables.
- Good command of written and spoken English; Spanish and/or French an asset.
- Typically, six to nine years’ overall professional experience.
- Three to five years’ experience in training design, training delivery, learning management system administration, multimedia development or equivalent.
