Project/Administrative Officer

The Regional Center for Social Science and Sustainable Development (RCSD), Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University announces the job position of Project Officer/Administrative Officer to work for the right-based education development project along the Thailand-Myanmar border with the following details:

Location: Chiang Mai

The position is open to Thai nationals. The tasks are to provide support for the implementation of the project activities particularly the administrative and management aspect of the project, assist in monitoring the project budget & spending, undertake travel arrangements for team members, and coordinate/organize the meetings among involved stakeholders and write minutes. The position is covering the nine months of the first phase with the possibility of extension annually.

Qualifications & skills

• University Degree with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social science, humanities, or another related field.

• Proficiency in English (writing, speaking, reading)

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.

• Enthusiasm in learning about the border situation & education and other Myanmar-related issues and ability to coordinate with other stakeholders involved in the project.

• Ability to work effectively in a team from various cultures and professional backgrounds.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The closing date for the application is 10 September 2022.
