ABOUT THE JUMP! FOUNDATION: The JUMP! Foundation is a non-profit organization that believes in inspiring, empowering, and engaging youth through a collaborative and innovative experiential learning programs. JUMP! offers programs suited for students at international schools and universities, including in-school workshops (JUMP! Schools programs) and outdoor adventure trips (JUMP! Experiences programs). We facilitate participants to develop personal, community, and global leadership skills. To help realize its vision for a world in which young people fulfill their true potential, JUMP! invests 10% of its revenue in an internal Development Fund. This fund is used to run experiential youth-focused development projects around the world.
ABOUT JUMP! PROGRAMMING: JUMP!’s experiential education curriculum is applied in two main programming streams: JUMP! Schools, our in-school workshops, and JUMP! Experiences, our outdoor adventure trips.
JUMP! Schools are typically one to two days long, but can be up to five days in duration. We run these workshops in schools around China, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. JUMP! Schools programs aim to:
Develop students’ capacity to act as student leaders in school.
Engage students in the development of personal leadership skills.
Introduce students to models they can incorporate into their own lives.
Provide tools for critical thinking, conflict resolution, synthesizing ideas, and public speaking.
Create a safe space for students to discover who they are both as individuals and as members of their community.
Empower students to take leadership roles in a supportive community.
JUMP! Experiences are typically five to seven days long but can run up to five to eight weeks. The majority of these trips are in locations around China and Southeast Asia. JUMP! Experiences trips provide a holistic approach to learning where participants are introduced to new activities, ideas and environments and are composed of the following five elements:
Adventure: Explore diverse landscapes and gain valuable outdoor skills.
Cultural Immersion: Experience local lifestyles, language, culture and history.
Personal Development: Discover more about yourself and gain leadership skills.
Sustainable Travel: Learn about responsible travel and gain environmental awareness.
Community Enrichment: Be involved in a community development project.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The JUMP! Foundation is currently seeking a skilled and energetic full-time Partnership Development & Communications Manager to work as a member of its Administrative Team based in Bangkok. This individual will be an enthusiastic and goal-oriented professional who will have two key areas of focus: developing new partnerships in our target regions, and supporting the expansion and evolution of the JUMP! brand through a variety of platforms and mediums.
This role’s primary Partnership Development responsibilities will be to contribute to and execute on our strategy for growing programming by booking programs with new JUMP! partners. This individual’s responsibilities around Marketing & Communications will require engaging with JUMP!’s diverse global community through consistent, varied, and innovative content.
A successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for creative problem solving, relevant experience, and a passion for youth development, experiential education, and community development.
Active engagement in our experiential education programs is a key component of our organization. The Partnership Development & Communications Manager will also have the opportunity to actively engage in JUMP! programming as a facilitator. Our programs aim to inspire, empower, and engage youth, educators, and communities all over the world to achieve their full potential and our facilitators are passionate agents of change who work collaboratively to deliver programs that spark personal development, strengthen a sense of community, and increase global awareness of participants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Partnership Development & Communications Manager will report directly to the Executive Director and will have competence and flexibility in a variety of responsibilities:
Actively developing new partnerships with international schools and organizations.
Managing a leads and opportunities tracking system.
Managing program contracts with new partners.
Managing a CRM (e.g Insightly) of partners and community contacts.
Managing the partnership development process
Managing a team of interns dedicated to communications and social media.
Managing the JUMP! brand externally and internally
Managing JUMP!’s communications strategy.
Producing and publishing the external communications (Newsletters, Annual Reports, etc.)
Managing content and updates of JUMP!’s website.
Managing JUMP!’s social media components (Facebook, Twitter, Blog) on a daily basis.
Managing the revision and publishing of marketing material.
Documenting events, projects, and programs through photography, video, and written word.
Contributing to the overall effectiveness of JUMP! by offering creative ideas and feedback.
Required Qualities:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of previous marketing or public relations experience.
Sales experience
Experience with online marketing platforms and social media.
Resourceful and self-starting.
Welcomes personal and professional development.
Comfortable with a flexible work schedule.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Passion for experiential education.
A high degree of personal creativity.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
PREFERRED Qualities:
Conversational proficiency in Thai and/or Mandarin.
An understanding of non-profits and social enterprises.
Experience managing partnerships with international schools and organizations.
Previous experience working with youth.
Skilled in Graphic Design/Publishing.
Skilled in Website Design (HTML, Wordpress, Flash, etc.).
A high level of personal organization.
Enthusiastic about personal and professional development.
Comfortable with a flexible work schedule.
A sense of humor and passion for life.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
COMPENSATION: Salary and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualification, and candidate’s ability to take individual initiative needed to meet goals and objectives.
