Background:
The Exodus Road is a non-profit organization which helps find and free slaves through strategic action and ordinary people. With headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO, we also work in India and SE Asia. Our SE Asia office is located in Thailand. Primarily, The Exodus Road empowers rescue for current victims of human trafficking, equips nationals to fight slavery in their own communities, and encourages effective collaboration among practitioners.
We are a registered 501c3 in the United States, and we are also a registered charitable foundation in Thailand.
Job Summary: The Exodus Road is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Thailand Operations Team in the role of Operation Manager in our effort to combat human trafficking in Thailand. The Operation Manager will be directly responsible for all investigations and intelligence gathering within the assigned province and will manage a team of five or more investigators. This will include but not limited to; assigning cases to appropriate investigators, identifying factories, fishing villages and other corporations utilizing forced labour, or victims of human trafficking. Occasionally, facilitate training on anti-human trafficking in the communities and help communities form a traffic watch unit in their community.
Primary Goal of Position: To find cases of labour and sex trafficking and collect sufficient intelligence/data to build a strong case against the perpetrators. Building and maintain strong relationship with the MDT, governments and NGOs in each region who is fighting with human trafficking.
Duties Critical to Success:
Identify, hire and train five national support investigators to assist in labor and sex trafficking data collection on a contract basis.
Deploy and manage investigation team to identify and collect intelligence on situations of forced labor, sex trafficking and other form of trafficking in Thailand.
Work closely with the Country Director to guarantee effective operations and timely reporting.
Responsible to manage the investigations team budget.
Will monitor the successfulness of trafficking investigation team and elevate suggestions and proposals to the Country Director.
Must maintain close, working relationships with various government officials and NGOs within the regions The Exodus Road operates.
Participant in the MDT meeting and works.
Building relationship with communities’ leaders, facilitate an awareness raising training on anti-human trafficking within the communities.
Train potential people in the communities to form traffic watch unit in their community.
Required to travel regularly to conduct investigations. (Aprox. 90 days of local country travel/yr)
Will submit periodic reports to the Country Director regarding the status of regional operations, investigations completed, rescue operations attempted, successful raids/rescues and the needs of our field teams and training output.

Bachelor degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in team management
Experience working with Government and Police or Military
Familiarity with Anti-Human Trafficking Act and Child Protection Act
Good organized and management skill
Experienced facilitating training
Strong teamwork skills, able to work successfully in a multi-cultural and flexible environment and to handle multiple priorities.
Problem solving
Highly adaptable and flexible
Strong and polished interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (both Thai and English)
Computer mastery ( especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Has driving licence

Applicant must obtain at his/her own expense a criminal background check.
Applicant must have a four year degree.
Applicant must be able to work well in situations involving investigators from multiple military/investigation disciplines (i.e. Special Operations Forces, Law Enforcement and the Private Security sector.)
