Job Title : Office Manager
Job Type: Full time with three-month probation
Location : Pattaya, Chonburi province, Thailand
Background:
The Exodus Road is a non-profit organization which helps find and free slaves through strategic action and ordinary people. With headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO, we also work in India and SE Asia. Our SE Asia office is located in Thailand. Primarily, The Exodus Road empowers rescue for current victims of human trafficking, equips nationals to fight slavery in their own communities, and encourages effective collaboration among practitioners.
We are a registered 501c3 in the United States, and we are also a registered charitable foundation in Thailand.
Office Manager Regular Duties
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day activity of the Pattaya office
Accounting: insure that all receipts and reimbursements are recorded and distributed
Assist the Country Director in managing Government and NGO partnerships
Support the Director in all major projects and initiatives (ie. conferences, project management and report creation.)
Maintain an excellent file system
Create weekly financial reports to be approved by the Country Director
Support volunteer staff by assisting with lodging, transportation arrangements and translation services
Weekly Expectations:
Meet w/Country Director
Support the Country Director in the implementation of projects and initiatives: Project proposal creation, obtaining signed MOU’s or LOA’s, collecting field reports and compiling them for each project, tracking project budgets, and report summary writing.
Insure files are up to date, attend to any HR function needs
Order all office supplies and insure that the office is fully functional
Promptly record expenses/receipts and submit reimbursements to field staff as necessary.
Monthly Expectations:
Submit monthly financial report to Country Director detailing income and expenses of Pattaya office.
Submit a progress report to Country Director of all active projects and initiatives in Pattaya area
Salary: 20,000 - 30,000/ month
Starting Date: Immediately
Employment Standard: Minimum Skills & Education required:
Ability to embrace and help embody The Exodus Road ’s mission and vision
Bachelor degree in related field
Minimum 2 years of experience administrative
Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who is able to work independently
Experience working with Government and Police or Military
Very organized
Problem solving
Highly adaptable and flexible
Strong and polished interpersonal, written and oral communication skills (both Thai and English)
Strong teamwork skills, able to work successfully in a multi-cultural and flexible environment and to handle multiple priorities.
Computer mastery ( especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
