Job Type :   Full time with three-month probation 
Location  :  Bangkok, Thailand


Goodwill Group Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to making women empowerment in Thailand. We’re looking for a dynamic, effective leader who is passionate about women empowerment, strategic in developing and implementing women engagement and advocacy strategies to achieve change, and effective at managing a multicultural team.

Background: 
Goodwill Group Foundation is a Thai registered foundation based in Bangkok with a second branch in Ubon Ratchathani. Goodwill was founded in December 2000, mission is to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged Thai women and girls through free personal development and careers advice services. 

About the Role:
The Director of Goodwill Group Foundation serves as a member of Goodwill’s top leadership management, with ultimate leadership responsibility for Goodwill Group Thailand. Thus, the Goodwill’s Director is responsible for :

•    Ensuring that Goodwill achieves mission to make women empowerment, with the ultimate goal of empowering women to build their economic power in Thailand; 

•    Overseeing and understanding all Goodwill programs, and managing the leadership team including program leaders so, the team can collectively ensure programmatic success;

•    Complying with all Goodwill requirements, including financial and programmatic reporting, donor accountability, and operational requirements to mitigate risk and ensure consistent quality. 

Specific direct responsibilities include the following: 
•    Organizational Reputation and Growth :  The Goodwill Director serves as the public face of Goodwill. She is responsible for activity building the positive reputation of the organization so as to facilitate achieving organizational goals. 

•    As the organization’s leader, the Goodwill Director safeguards the reputation of Goodwill. Beyond preserving Goodwill’s good name, however, the Director is asked actively to pursue the growth and improvement of Goodwill’s reputation. 

•    Additionally, the Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships that are important to Goodwill, including relationships with the local government, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), other NGO, and individual donors. 

International Leadership and Management : 
•    The Goodwill Director sets the tone and demeanor of the office for all other Goodwill staffs and volunteers. A successful director will ensure the Goodwill team is motivated, effectively identifies and solves problems, embraces creativity and collaboration, engages in appropriate self-care practices to avoid burnout, and achieves and celebrates impact. 

•    The Goodwill Director is responsible for managing all the program coordinators and any other staff reporting directly to her. This involves coaching and supporting all direct reports through regular meetings as well as informal or ad hoc interactions, and observing and providing feedback on job performance on a regular basis.

•    The director also plays a leadership role in ensuring that Goodwill remains a desirable place to work or volunteer, including through clear communication of expectations and inspiration to all staff and volunteers, ensuring access to professional development opportunities, regular review of experiences and lessons learned, and cross-office sharing of best practices.

Operations Oversight : 

•    The Goodwill Director is responsible for oversight of all operations including finance, human resources, registration and other administration, and regular reporting to Goodwill Board Members and Founder.  

Donor Accountability : 
•    The Goodwill Director works in cooperation with Founder to ensure fundraising success and donor accountability. Specifically, while Goodwill does most grant writing, the Director may be called on to host donor visit or conduct outreach to prospective donors indentified by Founder and Board Members.

•    The Director also is responsible for providing quantitative data and qualitative narratives for grant proposals and reports. 

Qualifications and Experiences: 
•    Thai nationality only
•    Master degree in Social Sciences and Humanities, Educations or any related field
•    Minimum 3 years of experience runs in NGO/non-profit management
•    Fluency in English, both oral and written 
•    Prior professional experience in the areas of women empowerment and education
•    Strong research, writing and analytical skills
•    Excellence oral and written communication skills
•    Excellence interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, partners, donors and service providers, and work productively in diverse team settings or independently 
•    Ability to maintain confidently 
•    Experience working with local government, another NGOs, women community leadership etc. 
•    Good organized, management and leadership skills
•    Experienced facilitating meeting and training 
•    Strong team work skills, able to work successfully in a multi-cultural and flexible environment and to handle multiple priorities
•    Problem solving and team work
•    Able to work weekends (weekdays off)
