Background/IRC Summary:
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Thailand country program was established in 1976 to assist refugees from Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia and currently assists refugees and migrants from Burma. IRC Thailand operates as one of the largest and programmatically diverse humanitarian organizations providing essential services to displaced populations in Thailand. Assistance programs encompass health, education, institutional capacity building, gender-based violence prevention, water and sanitation, income generation, advocacy, protection, legal assistance, and resettlement program.
Job Overview/Summary:
To ensure an effectiveness overall day-to-day implementation of Human Resource tasks and providing Human Resource professional services to BKK,MHS,MS and Thamhin office. Provide HR support which is efficient, transparent, equitable and workable.
Major Responsibilities:
Recruitment
- Prepare all recruitment documents for interviewer candidate.
- Prescreen candidate and interview candidate in Junior level.
- Keep candidate database iin talent pool
- Prepare&Update document/file for all work related recruitment
- Plan and conduct consultations for recruiting for staff in BKK and field offices.
- Responsible for and assure the correctness of recruitment advertising for all positions
- Responsible for internal job vacancy announcement.
- Prepare payment request for all work related recruitment
- Coordinate with IT for staff’s email set-up, termination and changes
- Update new hired staffs in Workday
Staff Contract /Consultant Contract
- Prepare all new and re-new staff contracts with accurate data
- Prepare consultant contract with accurate data
Documents Controls
- Responsible for updating and ensuring the accuracy of personal filing.
- Make the necessary copies and ensure accurate distribution of the documents to the people concerned
- Check that documents are in order in terms of document title, document no., revision no., description and progress status.
- Prepare and update employee’s personal file.
Administration and other responsibilities
- Correspondence to routine employee HR enquiries, answers telephones, take messages and re-directs calls as required.
- Prepare payment request for all work related.
- Represent IRC positively and professionally in both internal and external relations and situations.
- Keep HR information private and confidential at all times.
- Perform other HR duties as assigned by HR Manager and HR Coordinator.
Employee Relations
- Assist Human Resource Management team in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Assist Human Resource Management team in problems solving that concerning in HR matters within the organization. Coordinate with each field Admin staff and assists them in solving the problems that concerned in HR matters to run the work smoothly and effectively.
- Motivates good relationship among the employees, develop a pleasant working environment and making staff feel that this organization is the preferred employer.
- Assist Human Resource Management team in conducting the activities that concerning in employee relations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Work Experience:
- Minimum 1 year work experience in HR and demonstrated experience in recruitment.
- Extensive experience recruiting via social NGO and other internet tools and experience with contacting potential clients would be advantages.
- Good knowledge in Thai labor law and legal concern.
- Excellent multi-tasking, organized and follow-up skills, deadline oriented, good team player and can work well under pressure
- Positive attitude and excellent service mind.
Languages and computer skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Computer proficient and demonstrate skills in database management and record keeping.
Other:
- Available to travel when required.
