Vacancy for Administrative and Accounting Officer
Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Major roles and responsibilities of the Administrative and Accounting Officer include the following;

Finance and Accounting Duties - Review all the bills and prepare cash/bank, payment/receipt vouchers and ensure that adequate supporting documents are attached to the voucher. - Obtain cash/bank payment voucher approval from authorized signatories before making any kind of payment. - Ensure that all the bills are paid on time. - Review staff reimbursements and prepare necessary payment vouchers. - Calculate personal telephone call and recover money from the concerned staff. - Prepare staff advance statements and follow up on advance settlement with the staff. Ensure that there are no long outstanding balances. - Calculate withholding tax and issue withholding tax certificate to supplier. - Review TERs submitting by Staff. - Enter transactions into CARE finance system during the month and carry out relevant month end / year end procedures. - Carry out other duties related to Finance functions as may be assigned by the supervisor. |

Administrative Duties - Handle travel arrangements including flight bookings. Arrange legal documents such as Visa applications, Visa Renewals, Re-Entry and Work Permit Renewals, etc. as needed. - Organize workshops, other meetings, virtual meeting including logistical and support services for meetings. - Perform procurement activities for the regional office in accordance with CARE procurement policy. - Manage filing system and paper work. - Handle daily office activities to ensure the office runs smoothly. - Update Regional contact directory periodically. - Carry out other duties related to Administrative functions as may be assigned by the supervisor. |
Qualifications:
- Thai national
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in similar capacity, preferably with a non-profit organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications including MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to speak, read and write English
- Knowledge of the Peoplesoft is an advantage.
