Save the Children International is looking for a Migrant Learning Center Liaison Officer.
JOB TITLE: Migrant Learning Center Liaison Officer

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:
Level 3 – the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Migrant Learning Center (MLC) Liaison Officer will be responsible for the communication and provide technical support to SCI partners’ Migrant Learning Centers. MLC Liaison Officer will also co-ordinate with Thai Schools, Royal Thai Government agencies, NGOs and local communities in the project areas.

Role Dimensions: The Thailand program has grown from a $3 million/year program to a $6 million/year program. In addition, the role of Migrant Learning Center Liaison Officer is to Communication with NGO partners, government agencies.
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
-Working closely with EAC Project Coordinator on the implementation of EAC project to support out of school children.
-Ensuring good communication between Save the Children, partners’ MLCs, Thai schools, and local communities.
-Working closely with EAC project team on facilitating partner’s meeting, stakeholder meeting, and attend other relevant conference, training on education for migrant and refugee children.
-Assisting EAC Project Coordinator and MEAL team to work on MLCs monitoring and narrative & financial reports from partners
-Supporting migrant learning center partners to ensure project progresses as per work plans and targets are achieved
-Highlighting any programmatic or expenditure-related issues and helping partners resolve such issues
-Helping to increase enrollment in migrant learning centers and increase quality of education in migrant learning centers

QUALIFICATIONS
-Thai National
- Bachelor’s degree on social science or related fields
- At least 2 years experiences of development programmes. An in depth understanding of national and international issues in particular in relation to education and migration.
- Demonstrable experience of communication work
- Be able to travel and work in multi-cultural environment
- Very good written and spoken English
