A US environmental consulting firm invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of:
GRANTS & PROGRAM SPECIALIST
for a five-year regional program of the United States Agency for International Development, based at the consulting firm’s office in Bangkok.
The Grants and Program Specialist will be responsible for leading grant development and implementation efforts as well as supporting overall Program Management efforts for the Ocean and Fisheries Partnership (USAID Oceans). S/he will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Tetra Tech ARD Home Office and USAID-approved Grants Management Plan, which guides the USAID project team on technical, financial and applicable rules and regulations for Grants Under Contract management; and administering USAID-funded grants under contract to grantees. S/he will be responsible for administrative and financial tracking of grants; managing all grant-related information to ensure that the files are compliant, up to date and maintained by developing and implementing a Grants Information Management Systems. The Specialist will work with the Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist in monitoring grantee performance toward indicators. S/he will also provide Program Management support including the development and management of program monitoring and tracking systems for workplan activities and deliverables. This includes supporting coordination and management of schedules for activities and events; tracking and capture of deliverables; leading on TRAINet management; capturing meeting outcomes and action items; and supporting reporting as needed.
The qualified candidate should meet the following requirements:
Excellent spoken and written English
University Degree
Minimum of five years in equivalent position
Experience working on USAID-funded projects
Ability to work under pressure in a multi-cultural work environment and with minimum supervision
