Prevention department of The Thai Red Cross AIDS Research Centre is seeking a qualified and experienced staff to join the team for the position of:
Senior Grants and Contracts Officer 1 position
Scope of work:
This full-time position will serve as a key role in the Prevention Department of TRCARC to ensure programs adhere to all grants and contracts as well as other related financial management obligations internally within TRCARC and externally with donors and other relevant parties, by providing technical and administrative efforts on grants and contracts management, resulting in programmatic effectiveness and accountability.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review grant proposals, applications, and develop grant budgets for various funding sources. Also, coordinate to submit grant applications in compliance with the donors’ guidelines and requirements.
Develop the contracts, subcontracts, agreements, sub-agreement, memorandum of understanding and other legal documents, as well as their amendments or modifications.
Lead the pre-award review and assessment process with donors and implementing agencies and develop the grant management plan.
Monitor grant activities to ensure grant expectations are met in an accurate and timely manner, and conduct the monitoring visits to the implementing agencies on the timely basis.
Ensure the donor reporting schedule and, with the coordination with other relevant staff, develop the progress reports and other documents related to grants and contracts, on monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual basis as required by donors.
Manage and maintain adequate documentation, files, records and transactions for all grants and contracts as well as collate all the necessary data into provided database system.
Manage and facilitate the closeout process with the donors as well as the implementing agencies prior to the program closure.
Develop, update or revise processes, procedures, policies, forms, tools, checklists or other relevant documents to improve grants and contracts administration system for TRCARC.
Provide technical assistance regarding grants and contracts administration through the capacity building activities such as trainings or field visits to TRCARC staff and implementing agencies.
Collaborate and work closely with team members, colleagues, external partners and donors to builds and maintains effective relationship.
Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries/issues concerning grants and contracts administration.
Work closely with the finance management team and provide additional support on finance management as required.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, Law or related field and at least 5 years of experience (or Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience) in grants and contracts, financial, budget and administrative, or project management.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting systems and procedures
- Good knowledge on donors’ policies and regulations, particularly USAID.
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks and to prioritize multiple projects under time constraints and tight deadlines
- Proven ability to develop tracking and reporting systems
- Work independently with minimal direct day-to-day supervision
- Proficiency in computer literacy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Thai
- Experience in any non-profit organization or research institute on health-related program for people with sexual diversity or people living with HIV is an advantage
Clinical Trials Nurse 2 positions
Qualification :
1. Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent and clinical nursing
experience.
2. Relevant post-graduate qualifications.
3. Experience in clinical research.
4. Experience with infection control and universal precautions.
5. Valid Thai Nursing License
6. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software
applications.
7. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work
effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
9. Ability to read, communicate, and write in English
10. Good with people and management, able to complete tasks in given time
Working Hour : Monday to Friday at 08:30 am - 16:30 pm
(Occasionally working hour on weekend up to research participants schedule)
