1. Regional Innovation Manager
POSITION TITLE: Regional Innovation Manager
Location: Bangkok, Thailand, with significant travel to Nepal, Cambodia, and Bangladesh
UNIT: Agriculture
Reports to: Project Director
PROGRAM SUMMARY:
The Asia Innovative Farmers Activity is a dynamic project that will work with universities, research institutes, and the private sector to research, pilot, and disseminate scalable technologies in horticulture and sustainable aquaculture in South and Southeast Asia. Winrock is seeking candidates for a Regional Innovation Manager to lead project interventions under Component 3 of the project, Regional Demand-Driven Package of Interventions to Address Food Security. Under Component 3, AIFA will strengthen the Regional Innovation Hub to identify, develop, test, share, adapt, and bring innovations to scale.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical oversight for Component 3 activities
- Develop Component 3 work plans
- Responsible for achieving Component 3 outcomes:
1. Regional platforms/networks for sourcing and sharing innovations strengthened
2. Private enterprises/organizations applying improved agricultural technologies or management practices
3. Agricultural technologies and management practices under development
- Public-private partnerships formed
- Strengthen links between the project, private sector stakeholders, and Innovation Hubs
- Ensure quality implementation and reporting, gathering and drafting inputs for Quarterly and Annual progress reports
- Facilitate flow of technology and innovation across countries and technical areas by creating and maintaining network of
stakeholders
- Supervise Country Coordinators in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Cambodia
- Coordinate activities with Aquaculture and Horticulture Innovation Managers
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQURIEMENTS:
Education: Master’s degree in agriculture, biometrics, public policy, agribusiness, international development, or equivalent experience in a related field
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in agriculture development and innovation
- Experience in and knowledge of agriculture in South, Southeast Asia region
- Experience supervising decentralized staff and coordinating with diverse stakeholders preferred
Skills:
- Familiarity with USAID and Feed the Future preferred
- Competence with Microsoft Office Windows, Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- English fluency required
SALARY:
The annual salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

2. Partner Outreach Officer
POSITION TITLE: Partner Outreach Officer
Location: Bangkok
UNIT: Agriculture
Reports to: Project Director
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In consultation with Winrock HO and Project Director, finalize the project outreach plan and update plan as necessary.
Prepare project factsheets and brochures and update as required.
- With technical team, develop knowledge sharing and learning dissemination messages to share with partners and stakeholders. Edit and review staff communications and reports as required.
- Prepare a monthly Feed the Future update to submit to USAID RDMA and bi-lateral missions. Solicit input for this update from the technical team and ensure timely delivery to USAID.
- Oversee local partners to develop extension and outreach dissemination materials such as posters, radio scripts, and other media.
- Contribute to writing quarterly and annual reports, fact sheets, success stories, press releases, web articles, and other communication materials. Contribute articles to USAID Feed the Future blog and other official USAID dissemination sites.
- Oversee the development of relevant web sites (if applicable) and provide content. Maintain project social media accounts such as Twitter and Facebook and contribute messages to be disseminated to a large audience.
- Liaise with the USAID RDMA DOC officer to ensure project communications adhere to USAID requirements and acquire necessary USAID approvals for all external communications.
- Ensure women and marginalized groups are beneficiaries of the project and considered when developing outreach and communication strategies and activities.
- Participate in regular field visits to document project activities and results, and train staff and partners. This includes developing a photo and video database to accompany articles and document project success.
- Coordinate and communicate on a regular basis with Winrock’s Home Office communications staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQURIEMENTS:
Education: B.S. or equivalent university degree in Communications, or related field.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in project communications (USAID experience strongly preferred)
- Excellent computer software skills in MS Excel and Word
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with fluency in English required
