Malteser International is a German non-governmental organization providing humanitarian assistance and development aid for people in need in over 20 countries. Malteser International is currently working with temporary refugee shelters and surrounding villages in Sob-Moei district, Mae Hong Son province in Thailand. Our office located in Mae Sariang is looking for an efficient, motivated and experienced Thai national for the position as Warehouse Assistant.

Warehouse Assistant

Duty Station: Mae Sariang District, Mae Hong Son province

Work locations: Mae Saring, Mae La Ma Luang and Mae La Oon Camp

Main Responsibilities/Duties

Checking and verifying orders and deliveries on quality and quantity.

Participate in physical stock counts. 

Sending requested materials to program locations ensuring the correct use of Malteser waybill.

Assist in checking stock on requested items from program location under the supervision of Store Keeper and Pharmacy Supervisor.

Packing and re-packing of items to be sent to the field.

Maintain clean and safe storage conditions in warehouse.

Small administrative and office tasks as requested such as copying of documents, refill of gas and oxygen bottles for camp health centers etc.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

High School graduate

Thai national

Proven logistics experience with stock management.

Ability to copy with high workload and long working hours.

Multi-tasked and flexible

Meticulous and good with numbers 7. Fluent in written and spoken Thai 

English language literate.

Computer skills in mainly MS Words, and MS Excel

Fluency in Karen is considered as advantage

Possible starting date:                       as soon as possible
