Background:

World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT) is a non-profit, Christian organization, dedicated to transformational development of children, families and communities.  It was founded in 1974, and is currently supporting children, families and community development in 46 provinces in Thailand.

Purpose of Position:

Provide strategic and technical leadership in health and nutrition programme across World Vision Thailand’s programme area to improve and sustain Child well being outcome.

Role Dimension:
    
     Define and develop Health and Nutrition Technical Approaches (TA) and Technical Programme (TP) in alignment with National Office country strategy and regional Health strategy, Project Model and Indicators.
    Ensure the health and Nutrition's tool and methodology are conversant by Programme staff for the implementation of Technical programme.
    Assure close cooperation with other organization/institution external World Vision in contribute to better programme implementation. Such as MOPH, iNGO, University, Christian Institution, Church Leaders.
    In collaboration with Technical Expertise on integration approach development for DME business process and project implementation.
    In collaboration with Advocacy department work on advocacy issues in order to develop campaign plan of action.
    In collaboration with Humanity Emergency Affair  (HEA) department work on food security integration, disaster risk reduction and preparedness strategy, link to potential emergency response to long term development and community resilience.
    Helping Grants Acquisition team to improve the acquisition and management health related public and private grants project.
    Participate in Overall Operation team Management and operation working group established by Operation Director and Senior Management Team.

Job Qualification:
    
    Bachelor degree in public Health or related fields.
    Experience in Project management and design experience.
    Experience in proposal writing and the succession of grants/PNS.
    Strong interpersonal skills.
    Ability to communicate on Health and Nutrition with diverse groups.
    Ability to engage at a strategic level with external stakeholder (both GO and NGO)
    Good understanding about relief response standard (Sphere relief standard is preferable)
    Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
    3-5 years Health related project management and experience on Grant management.
    Good communication Listening, Speaking and Writing both Thai and English.
