ActionAid is an international organisation, working with over 25 million people in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice. ActionAid Thailand (AAT) is part of the ActionAid International Federation and has been working with people and communities in Thailand for a decade addressing issues related to poverty, human rights, education, and women’s and youth’s empowerment.
ActionAid Thailand is expanding its operations and looking for highly skills and motivated Thai nationals with good English communication skills to fill the following position:
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Officer (MER officer)
The position will lead in setting up systematic M&E systems for partners and ActionAid Thailand (AAT), provide capacity building on M&E to partners and AAT staff, develop M&E database systems for AAT and partners, develop data collection forms for partners, ensure data quality and M&E reporting, lead in designing/conducting formative assessment or baseline for campaign & other projects as well as doing mid- term or end of campaign/activity/project evaluation. S/He may involve in cost benefit & cost effectiveness evaluation (value for money) as assigned.
Qualifications
Master degree in Social Science, Research, or related fields
Strong knowledge and proven skills on MER design and methodology
At least 3 year- experience working with NGOs or other organization in similar positions
Experience in setting up M&E system, developing M&E database and data collection tools, and data quality assurance for NGOs or relevant organizations
Experience in providing training/capacity building and coaching on M&E and research
Experience in research design and conducting need assessment or evaluation researches
Experience in conducting cost effectiveness evaluation is an advantage
Experience in writing M&E report and research report with good writing skills in both Thai and English
English and Thai proficiency in both speaking and writing
Ability to travel within Thailand
