Malteser International is a German non-governmental organization providing humanitarian assistance and development aid for people in need in over 20 countries. Malteser International is currently working with temporary refugee shelters and surrounding villages in Sob-Moei district, Mae Hong Son province in Thailand. Our office located in Mae Sariang is looking for an efficient, motivated and experienced Thai national for the position as Finance Officer.

Finance Officer

Duty Station: Mae Sariang town, Mae Hong Son province

Work locations: Mae Sariang and Sob Moei District, Mae Hong Son Province

Main Responsibilities/Duties

Handle petty cash and assure daily cash flow.

Prepare petty cash vouchers and supportive documents ready to be entered to accountancy software.

Assure cash book vouchers are processed properly into financial project report filing system

Prepare/supervise internal and external financial audits when request by the management

Prepare financial reports for Malteser International and Donors according to requirements on request of the management.

Support smooth implementation of financial administration and work control

Analyze monthly financial control

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelor in Finance and/or Administration or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with accountancy and financial procedures and reporting

Previous experience with tax, social security, and related issues considered an advantage

Previous working experience within an NGO setting with financial responsibilities or similar

Intermediate/Good level of written and spoken English.

Computer Skills

Ability to work under pressure

Possible starting date:                       as soon as possible.
