Summary |
Suwannimit Foundation is a Thailand registered foundation dedicated to strengthening the operational capacity, programming impact and sustainability of community-based organizations that service underprivileged people on the Thailand-Burma border.
In response to the challenges of our partners’ beneficiaries- children and youth, we are taking part in providing intervention programs and one of our current projects under these is the Oasis Youth Center, a center which supports opportunities for youth to develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive abilities and to experience achievement, leadership, enjoyment, friendship, and recognition.
We are currently looking for the right person to take on the role of a Youth Center Manager. The main task is to work closely with SNF’s Education Coordinator with the aim of developing and managing the program, organizing activities and facilitating good working relationships with partner organizations including relevant Thai authorities to increase collaborations. The work will be mostly on weekends during school days and summer youth camps during school break. A proper time-off will still be followed where schedules will be coordinated with supervisor.
We encourage applicants who have both the technical expertise to run a youth center and the right personality to work in a challenging context. Due to the nature of this work, we will be putting weight on a person’s overall health to ensure that this engagement is both a positive experience between the selected person and the project. This can be a personally rewarding experience with the right approach coupled with an attitude of optimism.
