A graduate with a good understanding and experience of philanthropy and corporate social responsibility issues and trends you are now looking to develop your career in an environment where you can make a real difference. If that sounds like you this position with ActionAid International is the role you are looking for.

As Major Partnerships Advisor we want you to diversify and grow income from high-value sources in new markets across the Asia-Pacific region, by supporting the growth of our Asia High Value Fundraising Hub. This will involve liaising closely with programme colleagues to develop proposals and compelling cases for support for high-value donors including trusts and foundations, major donors and companies. You will help manage a portfolio of donors and grants as well as oversee reporting to donors. Important will be the ability to build relationships that will encourage donors to increase their support and expand our impact in the region. You will also help identify top prospects and funding opportunities through quality research.

Holding a degree or similar, you will have a good understanding of philanthropy and corporate social responsibility issues and trends. Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment and managing a high volume workload, you have an eye for detail and experience of working within an international development and/or humanitarian relief organisation. You will possess excellent communication, problem solving and relationship building skills. You will be fluent in English, and knowledge of Cantonese, Mandarin or other regional languages would be an advantage.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to have eligibility to work in Bangkok, one of the focus markets or an existing ActionAid country office in Asia. We will provide the necessary support in the visa/work permit application process, but this will be subject to the approval by the immigration authorities.
