The Fundraising Department’s goal is:
Ensure GPSEA’s steady growth and sustainability to enable the organization to fulfill its responsibilities as a Powershift office.
Specifically our goals are to:
Ensure steady growth in FR income
Improve supporter retention
Consolidate existing resources, optimize efficiencies to maximize savings and reduce wastage in total expenditures
Develop and implement nimble monitoring and rolling forecasting tools,
Explore growth potential i.e. FR in new markets/countries in the region

Responsible for the Telefundraising retention and development as well as the Telefundraising lead conversion programs
Maximize income from individual supporters by inspiring and engaging supporters and building effective committed relationships.
Ensure that all resources and tools are used as efficiently as possible and income opportunities are maximised.
This role involves building effective working relationships with Fundraising Country Managers to ensure successful implementation of the Fundraising and Marketing strategy.
The Regional Retention and Development coordinator will line manage the local Supporter relationship and telemarketing coordinators (in Thailand and Indonesia only) and will ensure the programs are well implemented in their market.
The post will require travel across the region in order to form relationships with the fundraising offices and staff and to understand firsthand the issues that each office faces.
Key Duties
1. Strategy
Develop Telefundraising strategy for lead conversion with DFRD
Develop Retention & Development strategy with DFRD
Develop strategy to reduce Pre-debit attrition with DFRD
Ensure retention and relationship strategies and plans are developed to minimize attrition, minimize debit failure and build stronger bonds with supporters based on market research and measurable key indicators.
Through these plans ensure a focus on audience segmentations which ensure long term relationships with our donors that generate maximum lifetime value and retention. Key to the strategy development is understanding and utilizing data segmentation and data profiles to ensure the right message, goes to the right donor, via the right channel, at the right time.
2. Planning & preparation for implementation
Responsible of the planning and preparation to implement Telefundraising strategy for lead conversion, Retention & Development strategy
Develop local operational plans – staff capacity, staff capacity, seats, timeline for implementation
Recruit, negotiate and develop a relationship and cooperation with suppliers and agencies
Benchmark for implementation of testing programs.
Brief and coordinate with local coordinators for implementation of programs and testing
Definition of the pathways, Segmentation
Define the tools and methods for implementation
Develop concept for creative materials
Define tracking process and provide reporting templates
3. Implementation of retention & development and Telefundraising Lead conversion strategies
Brief, support, approve and follow-up the implementation plan with local fundraising teams: supporter relationship and TM coordinators, supporter care officer, under the supervision of the country fundraising manager
Work alongside and act as adviser and consultant to Country Fundraising Managers and Fundraising Program Coordinators
Ensures effective relationship building and retention of financial supporters (and potential supporters) using a range of traditional and digital methods and activities.
Responsible for ensuring systems, processes and tools are in place to facilitate the retention of donors.
4. Supporter Communication and Materials
Support, approve and follow-up of the development of supporter communications materials with local fundraising teams: supporter relationship and supporter care officer, under the supervision of the country fundraising manager.
This includes channel selection, copywriting, editing, design concepts, design process management, testing plans and rollout with key performance tracking.
Ensure consistent brand and positive solutions message are delivered to supporters and prospects reflecting our mission and values.
Determine who, what, when, and how to inspire and communicate with supporters and potential supporters. Identify, and cost effectively, meet their needs.
5. Reporting
Prepare monthly reporting review to demonstrate achievement & progress of implemented programs
Assist the DFRD as required with the regular financial reporting and budget control for TFR and Supporter relationship communication.
6. Plan adjustments
Suggest insights for adjustments when the plan implemented does not meet the target
Responsible of the implementation of defined adjustments.
7. Budget Management
Create and manage the overall yearly income and expenditure budgets for the Telemarketing and supporter relationship programs
Ensure that income and expenditure are monitored regularly and variances with ODP are reported.
8. Innovation
Support the DFRD to develop and promote a culture of innovation in the GPSEA fundraising team
Research, test and implement new initiatives and innovation.
The role shall also be responsible for bringing innovative techniques to ensure deepening and more relevant relationships with donors.
8. Other duties as directed
From time to time in order to meet organizational and fundraising priorities you will be required to perform other duties as directed by the Fundraising Director or Deputy Fundraising Director.

Specific Work Environment
This position requires you to have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt and work in different and challenging work environments, which may include flexible arrangements working in challenging field and frontline work environments. In addition, you must be willing to travel internationally and work in a multi-disciplinary team environment across multiple time zones.

WORKING HOURS
Normal hours of work for full time Employee will be forty (40) per week or (5) days in a week, at 8 hours per day excluding an hour lunch break. This will be from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am to 6: 30 pm. Ordinary hours of work may be varied as agreed between staff and the line managers.
LEAVE
A permanent employee will be entitled to the following leaves:
Annual Leave: 20 days
Sick Leave: 30 days
Parental Leave: As per labor laws and Greenpeace policy
Long Service Leave: 2 months paid leave after 5 years of continuous service
Compassionate leave: maximum of 5 days for the death of significant others

In determining salary offer for this position, Greenpeace applies its Salary Grading Process, taking into consideration the job description and applicant’s previous experience, and the organization’s salary grade.
