Chemonics seeks Chief of Party candidates for anticipated USAID-funded programs in biodiversity conservation, sustainable landscapes, and climate change adaptation and resilience through efforts at the national level and in targeted geographies. We are looking for individuals with proven ability to achieve development results and who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
* Oversee and provide technical leadership for the entire program scope of work
* Manage project office(s) and in-country team of long-term and short-term specialists, oversee project budget and schedule performance, and monitor and deliver project results
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with USAID and local stakeholders and beneficiaries
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree or higher in relevant field required
* Minimum 10 years of experience in relevant technical areas, such as sustainable forestry, biodiversity conservation, community-based NRM and livelihoods, and climate change adaptation
* Project management experience for complex, multi-year, donor-funded projects
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
* Fluency in English and working experience in Southeast Asia required
