REGIONAL REPORTS ANALYST

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Reports Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

He/she will provide value added reporting services by conducting full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

This is a full-time position based in either Bangkok or Jakarta. Citizens of Thailand and Indonesia are encouraged to apply.

                                                                                                                                                                                                              Key Duties

Assist the team with performance management

Collate data for report generation

Prepare and publish reports/dashboards for business/operational reviews

Reports, Scorecards and Dashboards maintenance

Coordinate with lines of business to develop regular reporting to support day-to-day functions

Develop new reporting to support the changing needs of the department or organization

Create and maintain exception reporting tools to discover errors. Monitor, analyses and provide remedial courses of action

Develop a good understanding of the operations of all department processes and provide analytical support as needed

Recommend the use of existing or develop various reports and dashboards using Salesforce CRM, MS Excel, and/or other 3rd party tools to improve operations.

Responsible for ensuring both ad hoc and standard operational reports are delivered accurately and on time.

Analyze designated performance measures, reports and dashboards which may include, but are not limited to, fundraising, engagement, financial and operational metrics and where required, performs root cause analysis.

Identify drivers that positively/negatively affect the data

Manage ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests

Work with process Leads from each functional team

Assist in designing insightful report views

Provide regular and ad-hoc results interpretation to management as requested

Perform proactive analysis

Utilize data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Analyze trends, data, notes, root cause analysis, etc.

Utilize tools to perform root cause analysis on factors impacting the business/organization

Work with other teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance results

Define business and functional requirements to support report tools used by the department and the organization

Perform other job-related duties as requested or assigned by the Regional Database Manager.

Educational Background & Fundamental Qualifications

Bachelor's/College/University Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Industrial), Mathematics, Statistics, Economics/Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an MIS support function with a background in technology in a Sales and Marketing environment.

Work Experience in Non-Profit organization is a plus

Functional Skills          

Strong communication Skills - both verbal and written English.

Ability to work within deadlines and establish priorities.

Must be able to manage large amounts of data in multiple formats and create automations.

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple assignments with multiple teams and lines of business.

Advanced expertise in Excel functions is a must.

Experience in using Salesforce CRM or any global CRM tools is highly beneficial

This position requires the employee to have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt and work in different and challenging work and cultural environments, which may include flexible arrangements working in challenging field and frontline work environments.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS POST

WORKING HOURS

Normal hours of work for full time Employee will be forty (40) per week or (5) days in a week, at 8 hours per day excluding an hour lunch break. This will be from Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30 am to 6: 30 pm. Ordinary hours of work may be varied as agreed between staff and the line managers.

LEAVE

A permanent employee will be entitled to the following leaves:

Annual Leave: 20 days

Sick Leave:  30 days

Parental Leave:  As per labor laws and Greenpeace policy

Long Service Leave: 2 months paid leave after 5 years of continuous service

Compassionate leave: maximum of 5 days for the death of significant others

SALARY

In determining salary offer for this position, Greenpeace applies its Salary Grading Process, taking into consideration the job description and applicant’s previous experience, and the organization’s salary grade.
