Position: Partner Finance & Administration Support Manager
Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension
Duty station: Bangkok
JOB BACKGROUND: The Partner Finance and Administration Manager’s role is to oversee agreements, reporting and accountability standards of partner NGOs. He/She will build the capacity of partners through support, training, and recommendations.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitors budgets of partner NGOs; provides technical support in accounting, internal control and financial management to insure partners are aligned to Plan’s guidelines; maintains relationship and communications with partner NGOs for financial compliance as per donor requirements; reviews partner NGO financial reports. Work on risk management for working with partners.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; five years’ experience in financial management, accounting or internal control; experience working in Thai NGOs; knowledge of partnership and contractual agreement compliance; good English skills; strong negotiation/influencing skills.
