Requirements:
Thai Nationality
Bachelor Degree in social science and development is preferred
Fluent in spoken and written English and Thai in mandatory
2 Years of working experience in non - profit organization or project coordination
Excellent skills with Microsoft Word Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
Qualifications:

Job Description:
At SOS, we are working to reduce food waste, through better management of surplus, along with providing tools and skills around food education to help communities become sustainable. As the Program Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting Program Manager in administrative duties; producing relevant reports and documents, preparing meeting documents, organizing appointments, etc. You will be responsible for maintaining the office’s inventory of office supplies, including purchasing any office item and updating on the inventory list. You will have to translate document in Thai – English and English - Thai, including performing real time translation as required by Program Manager.
You will also have to keep track of all activities and remind the Program Manager of any overlooked tasks that need to be accomplished before deadlines, as well as to evaluate the condition of projects or tasks and provide proper suggestions to the Program Manager for the best practice and decisions.
Working as a focal person in project communication in both Thai and English languages, your assignment is to coordinate and ensure that all project documents and updates are delivered to the various project staff and stakeholders as directed by the Program Manager. You are also expected to facilitate projects and engage with different people from various sectors who have invested or participated in our projects.
You should be comfortable applying your skills to work independently in the absence of the Program Manager, as well as having a strong team working skills.
However, as the scope of the project changes, this position may alter based on program success, and SOS expects the candidate for this position to be flexible and manage, within reason, all work assigned. Working closely with the entire SOS team in Thailand and America, you will be involved in all decisions around how we accomplish our mission and an integral part of making SOS’s vision a reality, while reporting directly to the Program Manager and Foundation Board Members.
Work Time:
As needed, minimum 40 hours per week, no overtime pay.
Vacation 3 weeks (15 days) and 14 public holidays.
Sick leave with doctor’s proof after 3-day period, up to maximum 20 days.
Probation period of 90 days.
Compensation:
XX,000 THB Monthly
Plus 1,000 Baht per month towards Wi-Fi, computer use, and cell phone data (SOS requires you to be online often).
Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed as incurred.
This salary will be paid in Thailand on the last working day of each month, subject to Thai taxes and other government related deductions, if any.
