What we do:
IRC’s, USAID funded Project Local Empowerment (PLE) supports and empowers a network of nearly 40 community-based organizations (CBOs) working in health, education, protection, women’s protection and empowerment, and livelihoods and food security to provide humanitarian and development assistance that address the needs and rights of conflict-affected people living in four states and two regions in South East Myanmar, as well as for migrants and refugees living in four provinces and nine camps in Thailand. As PLE enters its final project year it is looking to document current activities and partnerships toward improved current and future response and coordination.
Your Mission:
To create short professional media outputs which highlight PLE’s successes throughout the project (2012 – 2017).
Your Job Scope includes but not limited to:
The Consultant will work with PLE staff and partners to document PLE’s work and highlight its successes through a collection of professional photos and accompanying stories, a Prezi presentation, and two – three short videos. This will be done with the assistance of PLE Communications Manager and senior management and will include field visits as well as documentation of various meetings and other activities with the final package ready to present in March.

Requirements
- Proven technical expertise and ability to travel.
- Myanmar language and familiarity with SE Myanmar context a plus.
