Introduction
SMRU is a field station of the faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand, and is part of the Mahidol-Oxford REsearc Unit (MORU) supported by the Wellcome Trust (UK).

The main objective of SMRU is to provide quality health care to the marginalized populations living on both sides of the Thai-Myanmar border in the Mae Sot area, Tak Province. This is achieved by the dual activities of research and humanitarian services, with an emphasis on maternal-child health and infectious diseases.

Since 2009, SMRU is engaged also in Tuberculosis program with activities on active and passive case findings, diagnosis and treatment of TB patients with updated protocol and best quality of care in full cooperation with national programs and other stakeholders. Since 2016.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Ensure site maintenance, sanitation and electricity needs for running activities smoothly at clinic site.
• Ensure on all power supplies and maintenance of generators and other power system (solar system) are condition and working regularlly
• Providing support to other sites on Generator, Power system and Solar system,
• Follow up and support of need of rehabilitation and maintenance of building on clinic site
• Coodinate with SMRU transportation in-charge and well organize transportation for organization staff, Patients, visitors ,donor and other SMRU guests from MST SMRU to MSL SMRU.
• contribute to transportation organization for, staff and patients to and from SMRU sites, Mae Salid clinic, referral facilities, and elsewhere as required for work, eventually SMRU visitors
• Prepare the requisition form of logistic department need.
• Prepare request for purchase all non medical supplies needed to run activities at clinic
• Follow up request and delivering of supplies between office and site, collect supplies from local suppliers,
• Provide support for all staff on clinic on logistic issues,
• Ensure all building constructions are safety and good working environment

Essential Criteria

• Experience in logistic issue
• Experience of transportation planning
• Experience on Repairing generator, Engine, water pump
• Sense of organization
• Able to work with team and individually
• Fluency in Thai, Burmese, and Karen
• Good knowledge in sanitation and power supplies
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance
• Basic knowledge in logistic management

Desirable Criteria

• Basic spoken English
• Line management experience
