The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a private international, nonsectarian, voluntary organization providing relief, protection and resettlement services for refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict.
The IRC is undertaking the Procurement of Solar Electric/Pumping/Bio san, Biochar Water filter Training at Ecological Agriculture Training Center of the Karenni Land and Forestry Department in Loikaw, Kayah State, Myanmar. The company who interested to propose the service should have minimum requirement accordingly.

SCOPE OF WORK
Practical training on installation and maintenance for solar system and water filtering system in resource poor areas at karenni agricultural department training center at Myanmar – Thailand border
Background of the project:
Under the USAID-funded Project for Local Empowerment (PLE), the International Rescue Committee (IRC), together with partners Mae Tao Clinic (MTC), The Border Consortium (TBC) and World Education (WE), supports a network of more than 30 border-based community-based organizations (CBOs) to provide life-saving health and education services, emergency cash and food relief, livelihood programs including trainings, organization development for CBOs and protection assistance to conflict-affected people living in four states and two regions in South East Burma, as well as for migrants and refugees living in six provinces and nine camps in Thailand. PLE provides impactful and cost-effective humanitarian assistance on both sides of the Thailand-Burma border by building the technical, management, and leadership capacities of CBO partners to deliver health, education, legal, and protection services, women’s protection and empowerment services, distribute food and cash transfers, implement livelihoods activities and trainings, and advocate for lasting positive change for displaced Burmese.
PLE partners with the Greater Mekong Subregion Agriculture and Education Development Foundation and the Ecological Agriculture training center of the Karenni Agriculture Department to train community members to use appropriate technologies in their local community for livelihood activities and disseminate the skills to their community members.
