Sponsorship Manager (Based in Chiang Rai)

Position: Sponsorship Manager
Assignment Type: Permanent contract
Location : Based in Chiang Rai
Job background: The Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management sponsorship process in Plan Thailand. S/He will support and promote the achievement of country goals in growth, customer satisfaction and the establishment of an effective relationship between people of different cultures. To ensure the quality and timely submission of sponsorship communications through effective training and coaching to related persons and partnerships.Other aspects of the role include partnership management, annual planning & budgeting, representation and liaison at the Provincial,Country and Regional level. This position is based full-time in Chiang Rai with 40% field travel.
Job purpose: Implementation of Sponsorship management in cooperation with project staff and others • Build capacity of partners as required • Annual planning • Monitor implementation of Sponsorship management • Insure keeping and reporting of sponsored-child related donor requirements are timely and of a high quality • Facilitate donors visiting at the sponsored-child at related communities • Represent Plan Thailand at the Country level on issues related to Sponsorship • Liaison with local Government and others regarding sponsorship issues.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Thailand • Minimum five years of demonstrated professional experience in sponsorship management (or similar position) and three years of work as management level • Experience working with local NGOs • Good knowledge of community development • Experience in developing donor communication and relationship • Track record of participation, training, facilitation and awareness raising • Experience of working with children and communities is an advantage • Academic degree in relevant area • Strong team-building and facilitation skills • Excellent communication skills • Proficient in computer skills • English an added advantage.
