Position title: Social Media Officer (Thai national only)
Directly reports to: Digital Acquisition Coordinator, WWF- Thailand
Validity One year, with option to renew for subsequent years

Major Functions
The Social Media Officer is responsible for all matter of social media assets for WWF-Thailand that included, but not limited to, managing all content calendar for all social media assets, actively collaborating with all departments to gather all needed information to generate content (text, photos, pictures, graphic, and VDO) to feed all social media assets, responding to incoming message from all social media channels, and boosting social media where appropriate
Mission of Marketing and Fundraising Department: To drive impactful and positive changes that tackle drivers of biodiversity loss and ecological footprint. To work towards establishing Thailand as a center of excellence for fundraising, education, and outreach for local, regional, and global conservation programmes.
Major Responsibilities
In terms of Strategy (40%)
- Supporting in implementing WWF-Thailand’s social media strategy
- Developing content calendar for all social media assets of WWF-Thailand
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on results, also making necessary changes to test and manage the effectiveness and efficiency of all social media channel
- Planning, managing, and reporting on performance of all social media channel
- Providing daily, weekly, and monthly social media analysis, report, and recommending solutions
- Maintaining top of the line knowledge regarding to social media platform
In terms of Content & Communication Matter (40%)
- Develop content calendar, activities (or games) for all social media properly to boost reach and engagement that could possibly lead to fundraising purpose
- Plan and create content for regular feed and campaigns for all social media of WWF-Thailand
- In charge with all illustration (graphic, photo, picture, VDO) for all posts of all social media
- Boost digital media ads (eg. Facebook Ads) where appropriate, monitor, and prepare report of the result
- Coordinate/partner with third parties (agencies, Online Influencers, etc.) for any means to creatively develop content and boost traffic, fan base, and engagement that could possibly lead to fundraising purpose
- Coordinate with internal parties to generate content and make sure that all content are accurate and in timely manner
- Response to all incoming message from all social media channels
In terms of Technical Matter (20%)
- Basic knowledge on SEO & Keyword methodology
- Analytics skill to understand the insight from all social media channels
Working Relationships
- Internal: Works closely with and under supervision of Digital Acquisition Coordinator, and in coordination with Individual Fundraising Coordinator, and Communication, Marketing, and Conservation teams
- Network: Liaise with the APGT (Asia Pacific Growth Team), GDC (Global Development Center), and other WWF offices in knowledge exchange
- External: Coordinates with digital agencies, web developers, Online Influencers, and other related stakeholders
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in marketing or communication or relevant field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional experience in writing content for online channel
- Project management experience would be beneficial
- Experience of working with an international NGO is preferred but not mandatory
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Offices Suite
- Advanced skill in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other Adobe Suites
- Have copywriting skill, would be great with the sense for fundraising purpose
- Knowledge in social media insight and analysis (eg. Facebook Insight)
- Knowledge in digital media (Facebook Ad, Re-marketing)
- Good understanding about graphic chain
- Passionate about digital growth development and environmental issues
- Ability to manage workload effectively
- Enthusiastic and can-do attitude
- Good team player
- Good in written and spoken English
