Job Summary:
The Driver will be expected to contribute to the achievement of activities outlined in the Action Plan through provision of driving services for the Refugee Team.
Location Description:
The position is based in Mae Sot with regular travel around the area for the purpose of conducting a variety of sports, training and monitoring visits to the migrant community. There may also be occasional travel to 7 Refugee camps along the Thai-Burma/Myanmar border. Thus, the successful candidate must be willing to travel out of Mae Sot for up to a week at a time. The position is also expected to provide support to other projects of Right To Play in Thailand from time to time, as deemed necessary by the Refugee Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent follows a pre-set schedule usually provided by the direct supervisor, and determines how much time is needed and which route to take to reach the destination. The incumbent should plan the renewal of vehicle documents based on the expiration date. When prioritization is required, the incumbent will consult with his/her supervisor for direction.
