Donor Services Manager (Based in Chiang Rai)

 

Plan is an international humanitarian, child centred development organisation, implementing development programs that promote the realisation and fulfilment of children’s rights and the alleviation of child poverty.

 

Position: Donor Services Manager

Assignment Type:  Permanent contract

Location : Based in Chiang Rai

 

Job background: The Donor Services Manager will monitor and support communictions between 20,000 individual donors and beneficiaries so that letters and reports are submitted on time and are of a good quality. S/He will support and promote the achievement of country goals in growth, donor satisfaction and the establishment of an effective relationship between people of different cultures. She/He will need to plan communication submissions, set schedules, ensure items submitted are of a high quality and ensure regular data entry.  Other aspects of the role include training staff in donor requirments, vistor logistics, partnership management, budgeting and representation. This position is based full-time in Chiang Rai with 40% field travel.

 

Job purpose:  Implementation of Donor Services in cooperation with project staff and others • Building capacity of staff and partners as required • Lead and manage a team of four staff • Annual planning • Monitor implementation and quality of letters and reports • Accurate translations of letters and reports as well as data entry • Facilitate donor visits • Reply to donor queries • Represent Plan Thailand on issues related to individual donors.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Citizen of Thailand • Three years’ experience as a manager • Minimum five years of demonstrated professional experience in Donor Services (Sponsorship) or similar position such as administration  • Track record of participation, training, facilitation and awareness raising • Academic degree in relevant area  •  Strong team-building and facilitation skills • Excellent communication skills • Proficient computer skills • Fluent in written and spoken English • Experience working with NGOs is an advantage • Experience working with children and communities is an advantage
