Role Dimensions: Medium coordination and communication e.g. with external and internal job applicants and field and centre personnel on various HR matters
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY :
Recruitment, maintenance, and exiting processes
- Coordinate recruitment processes i.e. job posting, initial screening, panel interviews, written test preparation and test taking, communication during selection process
- Ensure proper record keeping of the process for both permanent position and constants
- Prepare employment contracts (for permanent staff), consultancy agreements (for consultants) for due approval and signing
- Provide best support service
- Coordinate recruitment processes i.e. job posting, initial screening, panel interviews, written test preparation and test taking, communication during selection process s to staff for all enquiries
- Provide support with regards to work permits of foreign staff
- Process benefits claims from all staff according to SCI policy and in a timely manner
- Prepare Orientation schedule for all new staff and ensure it is complete
- Maintain HR Shared Drive with all HR Policies and Procedures and various forms
PAYROLL
- Prepare payroll summary which contains the month’s actual salaries and benefits for HR Officer to review and Country Director to approve in an accurate and timely manner before requesting for payment
- Calculate annual income tax as well as monthly withholding tax amount for each staff
- Prepare and send out pay slips to all staff at the end of every month
- File annual income tax for international employees of SCI Thailand
Maintain HR Information System records
- Ensure record retention of HR documents per SCI policy while maintaining such documents at minimum. This task includes the annual review of documents kept at the outside storage
- Maintain a complete record of all human resources in the organization with a well-organized filing system for both original hard copies and soft files with up to date personnel information
Supports the implementation of various HR processes and new initiatives
- Performance Evaluation System
- Assist supervisors and staff in understanding and using the Performance management process in the evaluation of last year’s performance and setting of new year’s objectives
- Prepares summary of all staff performance ratings and ensure the ratings have been agreed by staff properly

QUALIFICATIONS
- Thai Nationality only
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource management, or related field
- 2-3 year work similar role or in HR function
- Knowledge of basic HR works and processes is essential
- Knowledge of Thai Labor Law is essential
- Excellent English both verbally and writing
- Knowledge in contract or agreement drafting is desirable
- Working experience in international work environment is desirable
- High sense of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism particularly in having access to sensitive information about HR policies and personal circumstances e.g. salaries and disciplinary action, benefit studies, comparative information; even-tempered demeanor in handling various activities and people, and people concerns
- familiar with HRIS, payroll system, general Microsoft Office applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Personal and professional competencies – Sense of confidentiality, discretion. Attention to detail, organized, customer / service orientation, passion for excellence
- Must have a high sense of urgency, flexible and well-developed work ethic.
