Team Purpose

To work with others to overcome poverty and suffering.

Oxfam Thailand Foundation fundraises from the Thai public to fund projects that help people living in poverty in Thailand. It raises money by engaging with members of the Thai public through face to face dialogue in public spaces such as shopping malls and on the street and soliciting regular monthly donations mainly by credit card. 

A key part to achieving success is ensuring that newly recruited supporters have a positive experience with Oxfam and this requires that they are feel appreciated, their needs are listened to we respond accordingly.

Fundamental to this objective is the accurate and timely recording of new supporter records so that each now supporters wish to help on a monthly basis can be fulfilled and secondly, that they are welcomed as a new Oxfam supporter in an appreciative and rewarding way through a “Welcome to Oxfam” programme of communication.

To recruit, retain and develop financial supporters of Oxfam, to grow their lifetime value and to deepen their engagement and commitment to Oxfam and its cause, through financial and non-financial support.

Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

• Experience of F2F fundraising
• The ability to communicate in Thai and English
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and driving efficiency
• Strong interpersonal skills with confidence, determination, resilience, initiative and good team working skills.

Desirable

• Experience of logistics and administration – preferably in a similar role
• Experience of working with external agencies

Others

• An interest in the cause of global poverty and a passion for personally making a lasting difference
