POSITION TITLE: Grants Manager

LOCATION: Bangkok, Thailand

REPORTS TO: Operations Director

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Grants Manager will be responsible for overseeing the grants program for multiple Winrock projects based in Bangkok, Thailand. S/he will ensure compliance with Winrock and donor regulations, and conduct due diligence on potential sub-grantees.

KEY RESPONSILITIES:

• Work with operations and program staff to develop requests for proposals, support grant recipients with finalization of scopes of work, action plans, and budgets before signing grant agreements
• Establish effective communication and cooperation with grants recipients on project implementation, reporting, information sharing, and work planning
• Ensure that Winrock grants are implemented in compliance with USAID regulations, Winrock policies, and project grant manuals
• Monitor grants implementation in close coordination with project teams and oversee grant tracking including timely submissions of grantee reports
• Build capacity of grantees in grant management, finance, administration, and compliance
• Ensure that grant-related administrative processes and procedures are standardized and consistently implemented across projects, including pre-award compliance checks, agreements, disbursements, reporting, and capacity building
• Assist with international and external grant audits
• Other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, and COMPETENCES

Education: Degree in economics, accounting, business administration, public administration, or related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in project coordination and grant management for NGOs/INGOs

Skills:

• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, databases) required
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Willingness to travel
