Role overview

We are recruiting for three Regional Funding Lead positions which will be based in Bangkok, Nairobi and Pretoria. These senior roles will form part of the global leadership team and will have overall responsibility for generating and securing new funding opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical strategic leadership to maximise VSO’s income to deliver high quality programmes with far reaching impact.

These roles will work alongside the regional Operations Director, Country Directors and the Donor Partnership team to ensure we are positioning our offer well and integrating our management of donor relationships over a range of thematic areas in support of VSO’s programmes and regional operations.

It is preferred that you have the right to work in one of the locations specified.

Skills, qualifications and experience

• Extensive experience of leading and developing funding strategies, identifying and pursuing new

   funding opportunities and delivering income against targets

• Proven ability to establish and cultivate strong donor relationships
• Experience of working at a senior level in an international organisation
• Experience of establishing partnerships between organisations and consortia bid development

   including experience of working with the major development contractors

• In-depth knowledge of a region with established networks
