Plan International Thailand Job Advertisement:  Project Finance Officer

Plan is an international humanitarian, child-centered development organization, implementing development programs that promote the realization and fulfilment of children’s rights and the alleviation of child poverty.

Position:  Project Finance Officer

Assignment duration: One year contract with likely extension

Duty station: Bangkok

JOB BACKGROUND: The Project Finance Officer will be operate Accounting and Finance processes in accordance with Plan’s corporate policies, procedures and Thai laws and ensure accuracy and timely submission of transactions and reports for Asia Regional, also some projects as assigned.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Check completeness and correctness of documents for vouchering and liquidation report

Prepare payment vouchers and journal vouchers

Prepare Tax report and payment to submit to Revenue Department

Communicate Plan Finance policies and guidelines to the staff

Provide support for Finance information and report when requested

Prepare subsidiary ledgers and bank reconciliation

Process intercompany recharges invoice

Maintain cash flow management and good filing system

Coordinate with the banks for all bank business

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor degree in Accounting, or Business Administration; minimum three years’ experience work in accounting field preferably with NGOs; attention to accuracy and detail; proactive and flexible; good English skills; experience with SAP as added advantage.
