-PROGRAM MANAGER-
Program Manager for international Master program on Human Rights & Democratization, Asia-Pacific region (APMA Program)
Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies, Mahidol University
Reports to: APMA Program Chair
Salary Range: 40,000 -50,000 Thai baht depending qualifications and experience
Starting Date: 1 October, 2017
Responsibilities
- Manages finance, events, and logistics within the internationally-supported, multi-country graduate educational program based in Mahidol University
- Represents inside Mahidol University, with regional partners and at the Global Campus of regional programs
- Compiles and writes both narrative and budgeting reports to international funders, including the European Union
- Coordinates and communicates with partner institutions in Asia-Pacific region
- Liaises with academic coordinators and finance officer in event and budget planning and delivery
- Facilitates transparent financial management of the programme that is able to stand up to regular audits and evaluation
- Hands-on management of finances (program operation and scholarship management) and within Mahidol University, with partner institutions and with funders
- Assists with the drafting and execution of contracts with partner institutions, funder, and others involved in the program activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Thai language skills for university administration communications
- Comfortable working in mixed culture environment
- Experience interfacing with international organizations
- Experience with project planning and implementation in NGO or educational institution environment and report writing
- Ability to work in team and the ability to interact effectively with all groups involved in the program
