ABOUT APCOM AND THE POSITION
Founded in 2007, APCOM is a coalition of members – governments, UN partners, non-profits and community based organisations – from Asia and the Pacific. APCOM represent a diverse range of interests working together to advocate on, highlight and prioritise HIV and human rights issues that affect the lives of men who have sex with men (MSM)[1] and transgender people in Asia and the Pacific. Our goals are to improve the well-being of MSM and transgender people in the region through increased investment, coverage and quality of sexual health services and human rights protection.
Working under Programme, Advocacy and Campaign Unit, the Consultant is assigned to assist the implementation of APCOM’s TestBKK campaign. TestBKK is a behavioural change communication campaign that aims to increase the uptake of HIV services among young Thai gay men living in Bangkok.
SCOPE OF WORK
In general, the scope of work for the consultancy is to assist APCOM Senior Campaign Coordinator and APCOM Campaign Coordinator in:
