Job Title: Clinical Training Manager
Location: Sangklaburi, Ratchaburi Province

The IRC has been operating in Thailand since 1975 and currently provides assistance to displaced persons in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces
IRC is currently looking for a motivated medical professional who has a background in Clinical filed with substantive training experience in a curative and preventive healthcare setting. This position is based in the IRC Office in Sangklaburi. The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for organizing initial training for a cadre of medic and midwife students in Ban Don Yang and Tham Hin temporary shelters in Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi province. Training courses will include management of common Primary Health Care diseases, common infectious diseases of public health concerns, common chronic diseases, medical emergencies, surgical emergencies, obstetric emergencies and pediatric emergencies in accordance with standard protocols observed in the hospitals in the refugee camps.

Position Reports to: Senior Health Coordinator
Position directly supervises: None
Indirect Reporting: Filed Coordinator, Senior Clinical Managers.
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: Senior Clinical Managers (PHC, RCH), Laboratory Technical Officer, and Community Health Supervisor, Psychosocial team and Nurses
External: Camp Health Coordinator
Job Requirements:
The requirements should establish a baseline (minimum) for educational background, previous work experience, professional knowledge or certification, specific skills and strengths and any other skill necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
Education: Medical Doctor (M.B., B.S)
Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experiences in clinical care and training and/or oversight of health staff preferably in a primary healthcare setting

Certificates or Licenses: Doctor of Medicine (MD) Bachelor of Science (BS)
Working Environment: The position will be based in the IRC office in Sangklaburi, with frequent and regular travel to the refugee camps, and the Thailand-Myanmar border area.
