Our global farming program is transforming our food system and the lives of the billions of animals who are farmed around the world every year. Working with our supporters, we are challenging major corporations, governments and other influencers to champion a happier, healthier and kinder world. We are not a vegetarian or vegan organisation – our current focus is on improving animal welfare within indoor systems. We want to catalyse the greatest change for the greatest number of animals possible.

Backed by a global team of passionate experts working across multiple specialties – from campaigning and communications to corporate engagement and animal welfare science – this fantastic position will see you taking the lead for our Thailand country office’s farming campaigns.

Using your campaigning experience, you will plan and deliver bold, creative campaigns that inspire consumers, businesses and politicians to champion farm animal welfare. This will involve leading local delivery of campaigns ensuring they contribute to global objectives, that work is on brand, on time and within budget as well as monitoring performance against objectives and reporting on effectiveness.

You will work with other offices to support campaign delivery and play a key role in our global virtual campaign team, helping to promote a culture of high-impact campaigning to increase our impact, influence and profile. As a proficient communicator, you will develop relationships with external stakeholders, experts and key audiences to further our campaign objectives and to secure a lasting impact for farm animal across the world.

Requirements

• An experienced and highly motivated campaigner, you have designed and delivered strategic social change campaigns that have led to clear impact. You will ideally have worked on global campaigns.
• You are a strategic thinker, able to manage campaigns from concept through to completion.
• You are an effective project manager, who is comfortable working with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the organisation in, controlling budgets and meeting deadlines.  This includes being able to negotiate with large corporations.
• You have excellent planning, analytical and decision-making skills, and a passion for protecting farm animals.
• Knowledge of farm animal welfare and food/sustainability would be an advantage but is not essential.
• International and domestic travel is required.
