The Role

Oxfam in Thailand is looking for Campaign Officer will take responsibility for implementing campaign and communication plans and strategies, working closely with the Advocacy and Campaign Lead in building campaign strategies, building the team’s knowledge, connection and understanding of the different stakeholders in campaign issues, executing communication activities within Oxfam and with allies, facilitating partnerships and liaising with other Oxfam campaign teams and personnel as needed. The post holder will work based in Bangkok. 

The Campaign Officer will hold the primary responsibility for the SWITCH Asia project, while allocating no more than 15% of work time to support cross-project campaign/influencing work, as technical advisor. The Campaign Officer will be leading and managing Result 1 of the project, mobilizing consumer supporters and in charge of strategic planning and implementation of the project campaign and communication. S/he will be the focal point for convening the Dear Supermarkets campaign alliances under Result 1, acting as the campaign alliances’ secretariat, and networking beyond the alliances. S/he will maintain linkage with Oxfam global Behind the Barcodes campaign, as relevant to Thailand national campaign. This post has people management responsibility overseeing 2 supervisees: Campaign Communication Officer & Campaign Assistant. The post-holder will manage budget and reporting of activities under Result1 of the project.
