Job Purpose:
• The role of the Branch Manager is to identify and bring in new food donors in a strategic manner, while maintaining and nurturing all existing food donor relations to maximize their food donations, and ensure that the systems are manageable to donors and SOS team.
• This role will also oversee all aspects of food safety: working closely with internal team, donors, and recipient communities to ensure the food donated is of high quality and perfectly fit for human consumption.
• You will be responsible for the quality of the food we provide to SOS, which will adhere strictly with local standards of food safety and quality.
• This system for safe redistribution and reuse of surplus food will include, and is not limited to; guidelines on what SOS will and will not accept, training for donors on how to select & manage their storage of donations prior to pick-up, how to safely transport the food, how to safely separate the food, how to handles it’s redistribution, and work with recipient communities to ensure they have everything they need to safely consume the donation.
• You will be responsible for setting up the Operation in Phuket.
• You will be also held responsible for managing pick-up data collection, including, weight, quality, nutritional value, and items donated.
Requirements:
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s or relevant degree in Hospitality or Sales or Food Science/Nutrition.
• Experience in hotel hospitality will be preferred
• Lightly experience with food safety training
• Experience in team training
• Fluent in written and spoken Thai and English
• Comfortable with field data collecting
• Microsoft Proficient
• Ability to work with community
• Thai Nationality only

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including; advanced Word, advanced Excel, competent PowerPoint and competent Outlook application
• Full understanding of FSMS systems, with ability to implement, train, and maintain on daily basis with extreme confidence
• Ability to work closely with chef’s and food purveyors ensuring their donations are maximized and safe for communities
• CRM database maintenance and upkeep, used to follow up and track food donors
• Ability to identify and approach potential donors for edible food program
• Team management
• Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
• Well-developed written communication skills in Thai and English and ability to write clear and concise training documents for staff, donors, and recipient communities receiving
• Ability to maintain high level collaborative communication with your direct managers
• Demonstrated initiative, time management skills and ability to work to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Reports To: Operations Manager and Programs Manager
Key Relationships:
Internal: Operations Manager and SOS team in Bangkok and a driver
External: Food Donors, Recipient Communities, Strategic Partners, Corporate Volunteers, Stakeholders, Service Providers, and Media.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• You will mainly be responsible for the image of SOS in Phuket and Southern of Thailand.
• Your job will be that of a local liaison, helping our global team in Thailand.
• You will present to possible donors of goods, assist in obtaining agreements, educate staff, and help communities in the food recycling processes.
• You will be responsible for the quality of the food we provide to SOS recipients.
• You will be held responsible on pick-up data collection, including, weight, quality, nutritional value, and items donated.
• You will assist in method and translation with the local communities that SOS will work in, and help create awareness for our cause. You will work to find ways in which to educate these communities, in a way which engages and grows the entire community towards a stronger, greener, healthier future.
• Working closely with the entire SOS team in Thailand and America, you will be involved in all decisions around how we accomplish our mission and an integral part of making SOS’s vision a reality.
Partnership Development
• Create easy to manage systems for donors and team, and implement with the support of the fleet supervisor
• Training team, donors, and recipients on food safety standards
• Identify and contact strategic potential donors, through cold calling or using known networks
• Cultivate and nurture strong day to day relationships with existing food donors
• Ensure a high level of service, responsiveness and professionalism in all dealing with our food donors
• Liaise with food donors to negotiate donation process
• Act as a key contact point for key relationships with our food donors
Team Management
• Communications on pick-up for existing and new donors communicated to driving team
• Ensuring driver team is fully trained and understands aspects of Food Safety Systems
• Trouble-shooting and dealing with daily issues relating to food donors and recipients
• Managing a driver schedule, and ensuring the driver documents are turned in a timely manner
Admin
• Tracking and logging of monthly weight reports per donor
• Communicating these reports with donors and managers as needed
• Supply ordering for all food safety needs: cleaning products, kitchen equipment, storage containers, etc.
• Continually checking in with budget to ensure program costs are under
• Database entries and maintaining preferred contact lists
• Some social media management, to be assigned as needed
Events
• Assist in execution and implementation of minor to major
• Coordinate with VIP chef’s for public and private events as needed
• Hands-on bump in and bump out of events
• Other duties as reasonably required
Work Time:
• 40 hours a week, must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
• Vacation 3 weeks (15 days) and 14 public holidays.
• Sick leave with doctor’s proof after 3-day period, up to maximum 20 days.
• Probation period of 90 days.
Compensation:
Negotiable based on experience.
Health coverage after probation period of 90 days.
