Description of the Organization

Leonard Cheshire (LC) is a leading inclusive development agency, with 70 years’ experience in supporting people with disabilities across the globe. Our international work includes inclusive education, economic empowerment, youth leadership, protection and wellbeing, policy and influencing and academic research. We deliver our projects through local partners and also contribute to mainstream programmes with our technical expertise on disability and inclusion. We hold the Secretariat for the Leonard Cheshire Global Alliance, a network of over 200 organisations across over 50 countries, one of the world’s largest networks wholly dedicated to supporting people with disabilities.

Length	3 months 35 hours per week ( Monday to Friday ) 9am to 5pm, weekend and public holiday applies
Location	Leonard Cheshire EAPRO, Bangkok, Thailand ( Sathorn Square Tower, 98, 37^th Floor, Room 3712, North Sathorn Road, Silom, Bangrak, 10500 Bangkok )
Main responsibilities	The internship is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputed International NGO working and gain knowledge on the disability sector as a whole. The role will get hands on experience on administration and programme development. The intern will report directly to the Regional Manager and support her in the day to day activities in the office. He/ She will receive one to one guidance to develop new skills and enhance knowledge in the development sector; receive opportunities to attend conferences/seminars subject to availability; receive monthly stipend to covers expenses; learn to develop reports both financial and programmatic. There will be opportunities for the intern to interact with the international team members and learn any new scope of work as desired.
Intern profile: Required characteristics and qualifications	Thai national High proficiency (written and spoken) in English and Thai Analytical thinking; team worker; good writing skills; attentive to details Freshers with minimum experience or person with disabilities also are welcome Interested in disability issues is an asset
