Equal Asia Foundation is a regional LGBTIQ+ inclusion advocacy organisation and an innovations incubator. Our work is anchored around feminist and human rights principles. We address the  LGBTIQ+ communities' practical and strategic needs across a range of development issues in Asia. Our activities are focused on four key areas over the next three years:

• LGBTIQ+ inclusion in humanitarian action
• addressing LGBTIQ+ poverty,
• mental health and well-being of LGBTIQ+  communities, and
• ageing and aged care strategies for LGBTIQ+  communities.

Equal Asia Foundation will incubate innovations for inclusion and support communities access resources to accelerate successful models on the ground.We also collaborate with donors, policy makers, government bodies, businesses, academics, and UN agencies to build a more woke ecosystem around these issues. The foundation is committed to developing an architecture of partnership and solidarity, that truly fosters learning and addresses the Sustainable Development Goals.

Start Date:                               Wednesday, April 1, 2020

Contract Duration:                  01 Year with the possibility of extension.

Position Summary:

Equal Asia Foundation is seeking candidates for the position of Project Assistant - Consultant to carry out the day-to-day working aspects of the foundation from it’s secretariat in Bangkok.

This is an entry-level position.

Who we are looking for:

• A Thai National or persons with the right to live and work in Thailand.
• Bachelor's degree in any Humanities stream would be ideal (if you are a fresh graduate and looking for a step into a new career, we’d love to hear from you!).
• Positive organisation and administrative skills.
• Excellent operational knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel & Powerpoint and Google Forms.
• An excellent team player with great interpersonal & analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with both oral and written fluency in English and Thai.
